"Take the standard WDPre3 kit and improve it" was the request, so this is it - the WDPre3 XL Balanced (rear view shown left).

As standard this features one pair of unbalanced and one pair of balanced outputs, though we don't recommend you use both at the same time! As well as including miniature XLR plugs (and sockets for your cables!) with the kit we have changed the coupling capacitors to SONIQS SAX PP types and uprated the power supply cap to BHC Aerovox and the cathode bypass capacitors to Stargets.

Miniature XLR plugs are provided with the kit for you to construct your own interconnects using SONIQS ICT cable. Or just use the standard Phono unbalanced outputs if you don't need Balanced outputs at present.
